Three things I’ve learned since becoming a mom that have helped my acupuncture practice

By the way, this is relevant for all acupuncturists running businesses, not just parents…

This is not a post extolling motherhood. That would be a subject for a different blog :) But, surprisingly, becoming a mom has forced me to confront and learn some important things about running a business (still not a morning person tho, lol). Including lessons about boundaries, time management, and productivity. Things I wished I had learned sooner.

If I thought I had too much to do and too little time before becoming a mom, now it’s even more so. Thankfully, I’ve learned some big hacks for increasing my efficiency and productivity so that I can run my acupuncture clinic with joy AND be a mom to my cute little sugar-pop love-muffin.

I’m sharing them with you because I think they can make running your acupuncture clinic easier on you too… because who wants to waste time inefficiently “working on” their business when you can be spending time doing all the other things you love?

Hi! I'm Katie Altneu

I'm an acupuncturist, herbalist, & business teacher

My acupuncture clinic in Denver, CO makes me so happy. It's full enough to support my life, and simple enough to give me peace of mind. I'm a firm believer that bigger is not always better and that we need to "stop the glorification of busy".

I want your acupuncture clinic to be as full as you'd like it to be. I want you to know how to inspire-to-action the people who need you and our medicine. And I believe the best strategies are simple and heartfelt.

Combining my prior education & career in business & finance with my personal experience starting and growing my clinic, I love teaching acupuncturists to master the business side of their clinics. I believe in you and I'm so glad you're here!
